Experimental test shot that sparked the inspiration for Superhero Quarterly.
Nobody had any plans for a formal shoot or body paint when we arrived for the February 20th open house and devMEET. It was merely an excuse to hang out and maybe try some creative ideas. I snapped this image as an experiment in balancing black light (foreground) with ambient light. Checking out the test shot on the back of the camera, it seemed like our lonely superhero needed company.
"How many people here want to get painted up as superheroes or villains?" I asked the room.
Regulars and first-time visitors alike chimed in, and we were on our way to creating "the club". ^Battledress and Donna worked like mad on paints, converting devMEET attendees into hero and villain alike. The final version culminating from this madness can be seen here [link]
